Welcome to DubuqueFest 2012!
As we count down to DubuqueFest 2012, we are excited to preview on this website the terrific art and music happening the 3rd weekend in May in downtown Dubuque, Iowa. Sponsored by the Dubuque County Fine Arts Society (DCFAS), the festival action takes place annually in Washington Park and the Town Clock Plaza.
Highlights of DubuqueFest 2012 include a Fine Art Fair on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20, with nearly 50 regional artists exhibiting their quality craftsmanship and one-of-a-kind fine art. Three stages for music this year mean nonstop performances, ranging from quiet acoustic groups to high school bands to the party blues of Friday night headliner, Andy Frasco, with other musical groups to be announced.
In addition, the Dubuque Old House Enthusiasts will hold the annual Old Home Tour for lovers of gloriously restored residential wonders. And the Dubuque Area Writers Guild will host an event for writers. Plus, children’s activities will take place and food & beverages will be available all weekend long.
