Offering two full days of music, art, and culture. This is an arts celebration for the entire family. We are on!

The Festival

DubuqueFest is an all arts festival located in the heart of historic downtown Dubuque, Iowa in Washington Park. 

As a multi-faceted arts festival, DubuqueFest is a project with a variety of goals, all of which share in the general aim of raising awareness and participation in the arts while offering economic opportunity to working artists and celebrating culture. Among the many events are two days of free concerts, performance, and a juried art fair.  

Park Activities

10:00am-5:00pm each day; Kids’ Creation Station.  This year HACAP and Hillcrest Family Services partner to have a spot for Kids of all ages to stop by and create something to take home and celebrate.  

11:00am each day; Yoga in the Park – A beginner and intermediate Yoga Class instructed by Megan Gloss in the grass of Washington Park, bring your mats or towels and enjoy your time outside.

2:00pm each day; Self Defense demonstrations given by Empowermental 

1:00-3:00pm Sunday; Knitting in the Park.  Yarnsoup will host a knitting in the park session, they will have some yarn, needles, and knitting machines for you to try it out!

The Art Fair

The two-day art fair features juried fine art & craft by artists & artisans throughout the region. Artists are creating original work, no prefabricated or purchased pieces, no buy/sell items or re-purposed craft.  $1000 in Artists Awards are given to First, Second, and Third place.  The DubuqueFest Art Fair Judge is an independent agent from the Tri-State Area. Artists are honored at an artists appreciation reception on Saturday evening.
