The Dubuque Area Writers Guild (DAWG) invites submissions for the 35th annual book project entitled Facets of Time.
Submissions are open to art, poetry, drama, comics, fiction, and non-fiction based around a theme of time; looks ahead, looks back, time travels, reinvents, examines specific periods, and otherwise engages with ideas of time as it affects them or intrigues their imagination.
Please send submissions to dubuqueareawritersguild@gmail.com (SUBJECT LINE: “Gallery 2013 Submission”) or, if you must, mail them to Dubuque Area Writers Guild Gallery 13, c/o Lauren K. Alleyne, 705 Wilson Street, Dubuque, IA 52001. The deadline for submissions is Friday April 5th.
The anthology will be released during a public reception on Friday, May 17, at 7 p.m. at the Dubuque Museum of Art as a part of DubuqueFest Fine Arts Festival.
